An up and coming new business, introducing a delicious new sausage range into the UK. Boerie wants to appeal to the UK market whilst keeping to its’ South African heritage. We did a lot of research into meat packaging for this job, tracking trends and finding a niche for the product.
The challenge was in portraying the product as South African but not too foreign, as to alienate the UK market. We chose a neutral colour pallet which was not stereotypically African, instead one which is very current and picks up on the natural colours in African landscapes. Watch your local supermarkets as you will no doubt see this on the shelves soon.
